I cannot tell you how impressed I was with the service we received.  We Started purchasing a boat in June of 2017 and needed a survey completed on it.  We contacted Yates and he set up to do a haul-out on a Saturday (even though they were closed) and the survey.  When we arrived, he was already underway on the on-board areas he could do but there was a lot if issues that needed to be addressed by the owner.  

Yates made multiple trips to the boat on very short notice when he was told the issues were fixed and he could continue.  Only to find out that they were not.  Needless to say, we gave up on that boat and found another.  That boat also had issues but we decided to wait them out and in September was finally able to get a survey completed.  As soon as the boat was ready, Yates was able to complete it on short notice. During all this time, he was always quick to respond to any emails, messages or phone calls.

The survey was conducted in a thorough and professional manner.  All areas and systems were inspected with all defects discovered clearly documented in the well-presented report which was supplied promptly.

In early September of 2017 I found the boat I had been searching for in the Florida panhandle(Parker 2830). Being I live in NY and have a new born at home getting down there to see it with my own eyes was impossible for me. I contacted Capt Patrick Yates Adams of Gulf Coast Marine services and explained my situation. The fact that we had never met in person didn't deter him from going above and beyond in his marine survey and sea trial for me.

He reported on everything he found, even things as small and trivial as a rusted hose clamp or a missing retention chain on the fuel fill. Further, he performed an extensive sea trial and ran the boat hard. Always returned phone calls and emails in a timely fashion and made himself available to me numerous times to answer all of my questions and concerns. He made sure to take tons of photos for me to help put my mind at ease being I was making such a substantial purchase sight unseen. He was extremely thorough to say the least (Keep in mind this was all just days after hurricane Irma and the survey was performed without delay).

The end result was a 37 page survey covering every inch of the boat complete with numerous photographs and a sea trial report. His professionalism and courtesy throughout this process was remarkable. I couldn't be more pleased with the process from the first phone call to the end result. Captain Patrick Yates Adams conducted himself as a professional, did top notch work and I would highly recommend his services.
